What Is A Community?
Whether it is in a big city, a small rural town or someplace in between, a community is where people live, work, learn and play. What Is a Community? introduces viewers to the places that make up most communities, including local businesses, schools, city hall, the library and more! They will discover that while all communities have many things in common, they differ from each other in many ways as well. Young learners also get an up-close look at the many people who work hard to make neighborhoods and communities a great and safe place to live. They will learn that the community is all around them, and they are part of the community, too!
